ODESSA EASTERN FRONT EVENT
April 23th - 25th, 2010
I
appreciate the volume of continued
interest that has been shown regarding this
event. However, there is a cap of 200
participants that has been set for the event. Units will be accommodated
on a FIRST PRE-REGISTERED, FIRST SERVED BASIS! Again there has
been a lot of interest so this pre-registration will fill up quickly,
way before the pre-registration deadline of March 20, 2010!
All
unit members must register through their unit commander and as an
entire unit.
NO
PIECEMEAL registrations.
There will be at least 2 battles on Saturday, in the
same areas of Odessa as last year.
We will be providing firewood and port-a-potties only. Bring your
own food and water.
There will be no vendors.
Camping can be either modern or period. Our main concern is the
authenticity once we take to the field.
Personal vehicle parking will be in a designated area close to the
camping area.
This event will not have period vehicles at it. The
terrain is too soft this time of year. However, we do encourage
re-enactors to bring horses if they have them.
There are
various restaurants and bars in Odessa. They allow us to go there
in uniform. Their food and drinks are great. The owners invite the
re-enactors with open arms! So lets show our appreciation to them for
allowing us to visit their town each year.
